Millions of users around the world use Onavo's mobile apps to take the worry out of using smartphones and tablets.

    Onavo Insights market intelligence data, based on fully anonymized data from Onavo's apps, powers business decisions in companies in verticals diverse as finance, gaming, entertainment and social networking, and our reports are cited regularly in the press as the primary barometer of the mobile app ecosystem.

    Onavo is a privately-held company based in Menlo Park, CA with backing from Magma Venture Partners, Sequoia Capital, Horizons Ventures and Motorola Mobility Ventures.

    Leadership

    Guy Rosen, co-founder and CEO

    Guy is the co-founder and CEO of Onavo. He brings over a decade of technology entrepreneurship and management experience to Onavo Insights that span mobile, Internet, cloud technologies and analytics space. Prior to co-founding Onavo, Guy was an industry-leading cloud computing analyst, crunching data to publish research about that fast-growing cloud industry. Guy has also previously held management roles at Collactive, as Head of Operations and at Blue Security as Lead Analyst.


    Roi Tiger, co-founder and CTO

    Roi is co-founder and CTO at Onavo, and is responsible for driving the company's technology vision and aligning it with the business goals. He brings years of engineering and leadership experience to the company across the mobile and security fields. Before co-founding Onavo, Roi led engineers responsible for application, performance and security technology at mobile handset manufacturer Modu, providing him unparalleled command of mobile technology from the apps down to the hardware. Roi has also previously held R&D and project management roles at the IDF where he led development of highly complex technology solutions.


    Susan Kuo, SVP Sales and Business Development

    Susan is responsible for Onavo's worldwide sales and the company's business development. To the company, Susan brings over 12 years of experience in sales and marketing, with a specialization in mobile, social media, gaming and e-commerce. Prior to joining Onavo, Susan served as Head of Marketing, North America, at InMobi and VP West Coast Sales at Gaia Online. While serving in these roles, Susan negotiated and closed strategic sales and partnership deals with Fortune 500 companies and all major advertising agencies.

    Yahal Zilka, Managing Partner and Co-Founder, Magma Venture Partners

    Yahal Zilka co-founded Magma Venture Partners and has been active in the technology sector for more than fifteen years as an entrepreneur, mentor, and executive. At Magma, Yahal leads the business development and the financing-related activities of the Fund and its portfolio, and currently serves as Director on the boards of DesignArt Networks, SightEra, Onavo, Valens Semiconductor and Waze, Ltd. As chairman and acting CEO of the Fund’s portfolio company Phonetic Systems, Yahal led Magma’s first exit. Prior to Magma, Yahal served as CFO of VocalTec Communications from 1995 to 1999, where he was part of the team that pioneered VoIP.


    Gili Raanan, Partner, Sequoia Capital

    Gili works with financial, internet and technology companies in Israel. Prior to joining Sequoia Capital in 2009, Gili was a VP of Strategy at EMC working on key acquisitions. Gili joined EMC through the acquisition of nLayers, a company he founded and ran as CEO since inception. Prior to nLayers, Gili co-founded Sanctum, which was later acquired by IBM. Gili held multiple technical and senior management roles at Amdocs and the IDF. Gili was awarded with the prestigious Presidential Israel Security medal. Gili has a Computer Science & Economy degree from Tel Aviv University and an MBA from the Recanati Business School.


    Jason Wong, Director, Horizons Venture

    Jason is a Director at Horizons Ventures and is also a board member of some of Horizons' other investments such as Waze, HzO, Fixmo and Cortica.




    Wallace Pai, Corporate Vice President, Motorola Mobility (a subsidiary of Google) (Observer)

    Wallace Pai is Corporate VP of Morotola Mobility, where he leads corporate development in driving growth and innovation through M&A, strategic investments, partnership and alliance. His role includes strategic planning, M&A transactions, business development and working actively with entrepreneurs and portfolio companies to accelerate access to new innovations, new markets and new talent. Wallace also manages a portfolio of strategic investments Motorola has made in taking minority interest in innovative startups. He participates as board observer in the portfolio companies and has overseen a number of exits.

    Patrick Mork, Global Marketing Director, Google Play

    Patrick Mork leverages 12 years experience in mobile at Google, GetJar, Glu, among others, to lead Global Marketing at Google Play. At Google Play he leads strategy, marketing, sales and business development and oversaw the re-branding/re-positioning of Android Market to Google play. Patrick is a member of the global Android marketing leadership team and the Google Play executive leadership team. Prior to Google, Patrick was CMO an employee #7 at GetJar, the world's largest independent mobile app store with over 2 billion downloads to date from over 190 countries.


    Trevor Healy, CEO, Amobee

    Trevor Healy is CEO of Amobee. Formerly, he was the Chief Innovation Officer at Telefonica, where he came through the acquisition of Jajah, where he was CEO. Prior to Jajah, Trevor also served as GM & Vice President at PayPal, and as GM & Vice President at Verisign. Trevor brings a blend of early stage skills, and public company knowledge. He has participated in three M&A exits, completed an IPO and Secondary Offering on NASDAQ, and ran business units of two large public entities. He is an active angel investor and board member of early stage companies in Silicon Valley.


    Gary Cohen, VP of Wireless Market Research, ITG, Inc.

    Gary Cohen has more than 28 years of domain expertise in the mobility industry where he held leadership roles with Verizon and AT&T for 14 years, then managed wireless research practices for Nielsen and currently for ITG. ITG is the leading mobile research provider of real-time device sell-through information, and has nearly every mobile OEM, mobile OS provider and US Mobile Operator as clients. He is also a board advisor to several mobility start-ups. Gary went to the University of Colorado-Boulder where he earned a BS in Finance and later, the University of Colorado-Denver for a MS in Marketing.


    Will Hodgman, CEO, KISSmetrics

    Will Hodgman is the CEO of KISSmetrics, the leader in person-based behavioral analytics, and a veteran executive whose career spans global advertising, media, measurement, and analytics. He has founded, built, sold, and managed global analytics companies that represent the benchmarks in the industry. Previous to KISSmetrics, Will was EVP International at comScore. Will came to comScore in May 2008 by way of acquisition of M:Metrics. Previously, Will was also EVP of Nielsen//NetRatings (AKA Nielsen Online), where he came through the sale of a number of Jupiter Media Metrix measurement businesses that he sold to Nielsen//NetRatings in 2002. Will came to Jupiter Media Metrix in 1999 after the Company acquired AdRelevance, a business of which he was Director, President, CEO and Founder. He was also a member of the Board of Directors of Hitwise until its sale to Experian in June 2007. Will is an internationally recognized speaker on the subjects of marketing, advertising, new media measurement and analytics.
